Major Interventions:

COVID-19 Response: Implemented community-based hygiene promotion and COVID-19 prevention activities.

Handwashing Stations: Installed handwashing stations at 13 strategic public locations.

Household Handwashing Facilities: Installed 2,500 household-level handwashing stations in the targeted wards.

Care Work and Gender Promotion: Conducted activities promoting shared care work, gender equality, and positive gender norms.

Support to Vulnerable Households: Distributed electric kettles and fibre blankets to poor, marginalized, and vulnerable households.

Hygiene and Gender Awareness: Conducted awareness-raising activities through community mobilization and radio programmes focusing on hygiene, gender equality, and COVID-19 prevention.

Key Focus:
The project focused on COVID-19 prevention, hygiene promotion, improved access to handwashing facilities, gender equality, and support to poor and marginalized households, contributing to safer and healthier communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
